About Our Resale Shop

The Shop: Welcome to ‘Bloom Again,’ the resale shop associated with and benefitting the Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club. We are located in the heart of Rancho Santa Fe, on the Garden Club Property, at 17025 Avenida de Acacias, and are currently open Tuesday through Saturday 10 am to 2 pm.

The shop has been in operation for over 50 years and is almost entirely staffed by dedicated volunteers — some of whom have been volunteering with us for most of those 50 years! We are grateful for each of our volunteers and the assistance and outstanding customer service they bring to the shop. Come meet the friendly faces behind the success of the store!

We offer a wide variety of items for your home and garden – plants, pots, and garden accessories to clothing, shoes, accessories (for men, women and children), as well as home wares, furniture, art, and collectables. Most items are gently used, some are new. All proceeds from sales benefit the RSF Garden Club and helps support the RSF Club Grant program.

Well over $100,000 each year has been awarded to local non-profits whose missions support horticultural projects, the protection of our environment, education on good nutrition for youth, and organizations that provide healthy food for food insecure families throughout San Diego County. Last year, we awarded over $136,ooo to 32 recipients and also began a grant “partnership” with The Agrarian Institute whereby we provide them with a $100,000 grant distributed over a four-year period. Donations: Our shop is a success because of your kind donations of gently used items! We welcome and appreciate them. Donations are tax-deductible and if you make a donation during business hours we can provide you with a donation receipt on the spot. We highly recommend dropping your donation off during business hours so that we ensure fragile items are safely received. For after-hours donations, we have a weather-proof shed located directly in front of the shop. We are also available to pick up your items should you be unable to drop them off at the shop. We have limited space and can only accept large furniture pieces on a case-by-case basis. Be sure to call us if you have a large item to donate prior to dropping it off at the shop.

Volunteer Opportunities: We can always use volunteers at the shop. Whether you prefer to sort and price items, work on staging items in the shop, or greet our customers and work as a cashier, we can use your talents. It is a fun and fulfilling experience and volunteers receive 20% off items they purchase, and those who volunteer regularly (one 4-hour shift per week) will receive a free membership to the garden club after three months of continued service. If you are only able to volunteer on an “as-needed” basis or only have a couple of hours you can give each week, we welcome all the help we can get.
